Michael Olise could be on the move this summer, and despite being linked with him, that could end up being bad news for Liverpool.

The Reds are of course in the market for a new winger to replace Mohamed Salah this summer, with the iconic Egyptian having now left after reaching an agreement with the club to waive the final year of his contract.

Liverpool already looks to have missed out on primary target Yan Diomande after he decided upon a move to Paris Saint-Germain instead. The Reds will have to look at alternatives now, with Bradley Barcola the most prominent name being linked.

Olise would be something of a dream signing, with the former Crystal Palace star having hit new heights since his move to Bayern Munich. He has been linked with Liverpool previously, although it would be a tall order for the Reds to match his current club’s valuation, with some reports suggesting Bayern wants at least $223 million (€200M).

If any club is going to sign him, it looks as though it will be Real Madrid, and reports in France are now suggesting that the Spanish giant has been given the green light by Olise.

According to Foot Mercato, the winger wants to make the move to the Bernabeu this summer. Bayern is still hoping to tie Olise down to a new contract, but the club’s hierarchy is also aware that a departure is possible should an “exceptional offer” arrive.

Liverpool FC have launched their new home kit for the 2026/27, inspired by iconic adidas strip worn during the club's 1989/90 title-winning campaign.

As a result of that, Bayern is claimed to have contacted several players who could replace Olise. The only player named in the report is Barcola, which would be yet another blow for Liverpool in its search for a new winger.

And that’s not the only potential target the German giant could steal away from the Reds. According to TeamTalk, both clubs are also interested in Bournemouth’s Rayan, with the 19-year-old’s stock having risen after playing in this summer’s World Cup for Brazil.

Andoni Iraola is said to remain a huge admirer of the teenager, who he managed after the Cherries signed him in January, and believes his ceiling is "exceptionally high".

Bayern though is named among the other clubs interested, as well as Barcelona and PSG, who are said to be monitoring Rayan's progress. The Brazilian is claimed to be holding a huge release clause worth $175M - although that doesn't become active until 2027.

Liverpool.com says: Liverpool could really do with getting a move on its search for a new winger. Being just over a month away from the start of the new season would be reason enough, but the clamor for options is clearly growing elsewhere, and the Reds can’t leave it too late, considering it doesn’t really have anyone lined up to replace Salah at this moment.
