Everton’s €15m offer on the table – More needed but gap reducing

Brooke Norton-Cuffy

Everton target Brooke Norton-Cuffy

Brooke Norton-Cuffy attracted interest from Everton in January, and the Toffees have returned in the summer window.

The defender has clearly improved during his time in Italy. He joined from Arsenal in the summer of 2024 and has now played 43 times for Genoa, becoming a regular at right-back in Serie A.

Premier League interest has always been lingering around the defender. In January, Everton were the frontrunners for his signature, with West Ham also in the race at that point.

Sport Witness have covered the current situation, as the Merseyside club remain interested in his signature.

Further developments are emerging and things are looking good for David Moyes’ side.

Initial offer made

Repubblica Genoa have been covering the Englishman’s situation this week. They have an update – relayed by PianetaGenoa1893.

They believe an auction could break out for Norton-Cuffy. This is after Everton made their first offer for the defender, putting forward €15m.

This isn’t enough, with Genoa demanding €20m. The newspaper believe two other clubs are also keen. They have previously reported Fulham as a suitor and more offers could be on the way for the ex-Arsenal talent.

Toffees should close the move

Due to the competition, Everton shouldn’t waste time in sealing the deal. The player joined Genoa for peanuts and the Rossoblu are open to the exit, as it hands them a major capital gain.

Italian clubs don’t seem in the picture and financially, they wouldn’t compete anyway.

Norton-Cuffy has played across the English football divisions, on several loans away from Arsenal.
