Rochdale sign Chelsea defender Wilson on loan

Rochdale have signed Chelsea defender Kaiden Wilson on a season-long loan deal.

The 20-year-old is yet to make his senior debut for the Blues but has featured six times for their Under-21s in the EFL Trophy.

He signed a new three-and-a-half-year contract with the Premier League side in January.

"I feel like at my age it's the right time to take the next step in my career," he told the club website.
