It's been 100 years since a Philadelphia team first won an NFL championship, and that team was the Frankford Yellow Jackets. I didn't know that until this week, and the team played less than two miles from where I grew up. How many of you folks knew that piece of information? I honestly had no idea how good the Yellow Jackets were, or that there was no championship game before the 1930s. Prior to that, the title went to the team with the best record, and that was Frankford in 1926.
