Liverpool are looking to complete the stunning double signing of Bradley Barcola and Rayan this summer, according to a significant new transfer claim.
The wide pair have both been mentioned as leading attacking options for the Reds under Andoni Iraola, with reliable journalist David Ornstein discussing Barcola’s future recently:
“He’s not a regular starter, and he wants to be, so I suspect he would be open to a move if the right opportunity arose. Liverpool have him high in their thinking, and I imagine Barcola himself would be attracted to clubs like Liverpool and Arsenal, and so on.
“The price would be very high. Of course, we’ve got to keep a close eye on Barcola and Liverpool, but at this moment I’m not sure it’s at an advanced stage. France are still in the tournament. PSG, I’m told, don’t want to trouble him or take his focus away from the World Cup, so, like with many situations, I would imagine this one starts to develop, in whatever shape or form, if that means staying, going, Liverpool or elsewhere, post-tournament.”
Now a respected source on X has claimed that Liverpool are looking to strike a double deal for Paris Saint-Germain star Barcola and Bournemouth ace Rayan:
“EXCLUSIVE BOMBSHELL ALERT.LFC are RACING to Paris tomorrow morning for a SECRET summit with PSG over superstar Bradley Barcola. Our sources just dropped that The Reds are ALSO in TALKS for Bournemouth wizard Rayan! LFC want to SIGN BOTH in a DOUBLE transfer.”
A potentially stunning double deal for Liverpool
This would be a huge statement by Liverpool, who do still arguably need two wingers brought in, even though Victor Munoz has already joined from Osasuna.
Barcola and Rayan are at their best on the left and right flank, respectively, so they could help transform the Reds’ options, with Munoz, Cody Gakpo and Rio Ngumoha also strong squad players.
This is exactly what Liverpool need, in terms of pace and end product on the wings, and it would help get the best out of Florian Wirtz and Alexander Isak.
If Barcola and Rayan both end up not joining, alternatives are a must for the Reds, but they currently feel like the ideal pair to bring in on either flank.
