Bradley Barcola's potential switch to Liverpool could be greenlit with Paris Saint-Germain closing in on its replacement for the winger.
The Ligue 1 team knows the Frenchman has a number of suitors, with the Reds desperate to land the 23-year-old this summer. Arsenal has also been linked with a move for Barcola, and he could cost close to an eye-watering $171 million, which would be a record fee.
Liverpool, also keen on Yan Diomande, is open to negotiations as it hopes to convince the international attacker to make the move to Anfield over its transfer rivals. And now PSG's own possible incoming business may have opened the pathway for Barcola to finally move on and switch to life in the Premier League.
Luis Enrique's club is reportedly looking to do a deal for Monaco attacking midfielder Maghnes Akliouche, who has impressed in the same division across five years at the club.
A fee of around $94 million has been touted as being enough to tempt Monaco into doing business, and transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that discussions have been positive between the two French outfits.
The Italian journalist believes the move is "proceeding" and that Akliouche wants to make the switch to join the Champions League holders in the coming weeks.

PSG has made clear its intentions to move for the playmaker and that leaves Barcola's future up in the air as an attacker for his current club.
Having been away with the French national team at the World Cup, he has always insisted his decision regarding his next move would wait until the tournament had ended.
“I am focused on the World Cup, what will happen after that, I don't know," he said earlier in the competition as Les Bleus attempted to make a run for the gold trophy, only to be knocked out at the semifinal stage.
Barcola remains in the United States with his country, which still has the Bronze Final to play against England, which was eliminated by a Lionel Messi-inspired Argentina after Thomas Tuchel's questionable decisions during the semifinal tie.
The PSG man found the net 13 times for his club last season in what was a strong campaign for him personally as the team lifted the European winners' medal as well as the Ligue 1 title, Trophee des Champions, UEFA Super Cup, and the Intercontinental Cup.

He also provided seven assists from the same fixtures and scored two goals at the World Cup against Senegal and Sweden respectively.
