Another Summer League game, another Allen Graves performance that has Raptors fans excited about what’s next.
The Raptors’ No. 19 pick from the 2026 NBA Draft finished Summer League on a high note, leading Toronto to a 99-90 win over the Miami Heat on Sunday.
Graves finished with a team-high 23 points on 8-of-16 shooting, including a ridiculous 4-of-6 from three. He also added six rebounds, four assists, two blocks and a steal while taking care of the ball with zero turnovers.
Toronto finished Summer League with a 3-1 record, but fell just five points short of making the playoffs. Still, the biggest takeaway from Vegas was clear: Graves looks more and more comfortable every time he steps on the floor.
The Raptors had Nate Bittle to thank early. While Toronto found itself down 23-19 after the opening quarter, the deficit could have been much worse if not for Bittle’s aggressive start.
Just 19 seconds into the game, the seven-footer stepped outside and knocked down a deep three for his first points of the night. A few minutes later, he showed off his ability around the rim, cleaning up a missed Nimari Burnett layup with a putback finish.
Graves also took part of the big man’s ear;y success, finding Bittle running the floor in transition, Graves delivered a perfect pass that led to another easy bucket for the big man. The seven-footer finished the quarter with another three-pointer, giving him double-digit points before the first quarter was even over.
The second quarter belonged all to Toronto. After trailing by four, the Raptors completely flipped the game, exploding for 38 points in the frame, building a 17-point lead near halftime.
Bittle kept the momentum going right away, opening the quarter with a three from 28 feet out. But he wasn’t the only Raptors big making an impact.
Jamarion Sharp looked much more aggressive in this one, putting together one of his best offensive stretches of Summer League. He scored on three straight field goals, including a pair of highlight-reel alley-oop dunks. One of those came with an and-one finish after a perfectly placed pass from AJ Hoggard.
Seth Lundy continued his impressive shooting stretch as well. His shot has been one of Toronto’s biggest weapons throughout Summer League, and he showed it again against Miami. Lundy scored 12 points in the first half, including an and-one three-pointer and a couple of strong finishes inside.
Graves also started to heat up in the second, scoring 11 points while continuing to make an impact as a playmaker picking up three dimes.
Toronto’s offence cooled off after halftime. After putting up 38 points in the second quarter, the Raptors managed just 17 in the third as Miami slowly worked its way back into the game.
The Heat outscored Toronto 23-17 in the frame, cutting into what was once a comfortable lead and setting up a much closer finish.
In the fourth Miami entirely erased the rest of Toronto’s lead and tied the game at 80, putting all the pressure back on the Raptors. However, once again, Graves was the guy Toronto turned to.
He knocked down a three-pointer to put the Raptors back in front, then added another deep shot with just over two minutes left to give Toronto a six-point cushion. Less than a minute later, Graves amade a nice cut to the basket and finished at the rim to put the game out of reach.
It was the perfect ending to an impressive Summer League showing from Toronto’s first-round pick.
