Former Oregon center Nate Bittle continued his strong NBA Summer League showing Thursday night, helping the Toronto Raptors earn a 99-90 win over the Miami Heat in Las Vegas.
Bittle got the start for Toronto and delivered another productive all-around performance, finishing with 13 points, seven rebounds, three assists, one steal and three blocked shots in 18 minutes. He shot 5-of-9 from the field and was especially effective from the perimeter, knocking down 3-of-4 attempts from three-point range.
The performance came after Bittle opened Summer League play with eight points, 10 rebounds and six blocks against the Boston Celtics. Through his early action in Las Vegas, the former Duck has shown the same combination of size, rim protection and floor spacing that made him one of Oregon's most productive frontcourt players.
Bittle's three made threes against Miami were a notable part of his performance. The 7-foot center was able to step away from the basket and provide spacing, while still impacting the game defensively around the rim. He also grabbed three offensive rebounds and four defensive rebounds while committing just two turnovers and no fouls.
Bittle closed his Oregon career as one of the top shot-blockers in program history, finishing with 176 career blocks, the third-most all-time by a Duck. He also became the 41st Oregon player to score 1,000 career points.
During his final season with the Ducks, Bittle averaged a team-leading 16.8 points per game while adding 6.9 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.8 blocks. His production helped him earn NABC All-Pacific District second-team honors.
Former Oregon forward Brandon Angel also saw action for Toronto in the win over Miami. Angel came off the bench and played seven minutes, finishing with three rebounds, including two offensive boards. He attempted two shots and did not score.
Angel played one season at Oregon after transferring from Stanford and started all 35 games for the Ducks during the 2024-25 season.
Toronto improved to 3-1 in Summer League play with the win. Allen Graves led the Raptors with 23 points, while Seth Lundy added 19 points and six assists.
