Buffalo Bills Long Time Veteran Announces Retirement
A former Buffalo Bills cornerback is calling it quits. “Walk-on. Undrafted. 8 years. Retired. Not bad,” Levi Wallace posted on Instagram along with a tribute video.
During his brief stint with the Jacksonville Jaguars last August, Wallace suffered a lower-body injury that left him on the reserve/injured list before even playing in a preseason game. After being released from IR with a settlement, he did not find another team to sign with.
A two-time national champion with Alabama in 2014 and 2017, he appeared in 96 games in the NFL. During his tenure with the Buffalo Bills, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Denver Broncos, Wallace recorded 333 tackles and 12 interceptions.
