Replacing Mohamed Salah, who has reportedly agreed terms to join Besiktas, remains one of Liverpool’s top priorities.
PSG winger Bradley Barcola has been linked with a move to Anfield, with his future expected to become clearer after France’s World Cup exit.
Liverpool have already signed Jeremy Jacquet and Spanish winger Victor Munoz this summer, but further additions are expected as Andoni Iraola reshapes the squad.
Bournemouth duo Eli Junior Kroupi and Alex Scott have also been linked with a move to Liverpool. Scott enjoyed an impressive season as Bournemouth secured Europa League qualification and was rewarded with an England call-up in November, although he missed out on Thomas Tuchel’s World Cup squad.
Kroupi, meanwhile, became the first teenager to score 13 goals in his debut Premier League season after joining from Lorient last summer.
Bournemouth boss Marco Rose is optimistic he can keep hold of Kroupi, Scott and Rayan as the Cherries prepare for their first European campaign.
“So far, it’s not a challenge for me, to be honest,” said the former Borussia Dortmund head coach. “The first four days, we are in touch and my feeling is that the boys are feeling really good here.
“Kroupi made great improvement last season, so I think for him there’s no ceiling. Even he knows that he’s in a good place to improve.
“He’s playing in Europe, he’ll have many games and he’s playing in the most competitive and intensive league in the world. So far I don’t have the feeling that anyone is trying to leave the club.”
“I think Alex knows what he has with this club, and it’s always about the right moment to do the next step,” said Rose, who hopes to strengthen his squad before the transfer window closes.
“Because if you are a young player and you do steps – and nowadays it happens many times – too fast, too quick, then it’s getting difficult. “The club is doing a lot of things to show the players that they are in the right place.”
Bournemouth have traditionally been open to selling players. Over the past seasons, they have moved on several key names, including Dominic Solanke to Tottenham, Milos Kerkez to Liverpool, Dean Huijsen to Real Madrid, Illia Zabarnyi to Paris Saint-Germain, Dango Ouattara to Brentford and Antoine Semenyo to Manchester City.
