Egypt captain Mohamed Salah ended his nine-year spell at Anfield at the end of last season after making 442 appearances, scoring 257 goals and providing 123 assists.
During his time on Merseyside, he won two Premier League titles and the Champions League, establishing himself as a Liverpool legend.

The 34-year-old has attracted interest from Turkey, with Besiktas, Fenerbahce and Galatasaray all reportedly considering offers.
Turkish clubs have shown significant ambition in recent transfer windows, making a move to the Super Lig a possible option for Salah. Saudi interest has also been reported, although his wage demands are believed to have complicated potential moves.
Reports recently claimed that Salah had agreed a one-year contract with Besiktas, but his agent Ramy Abbas Issa quickly dismissed the speculation, stating that he doesn’t know where Salah will play next season. Abbas posted on X: “I personally do not know where Mohamed will play next season. What does that tell you?”
Abbas has previously suggested that Salah’s future will be decided soon, but the forward’s next destination remains unclear as he prepares for the next chapter of his career away from Liverpool.
He said: “We still do not know where Mohamed will play next season but we may know very soon. It is not our style to have discussions with clubs that Mohamed wouldn’t want to play for, just for the sake of noise.”
Mohamed Salah played a key role in transforming Liverpool’s fortunes during his nine years at the club. The Egyptian helped the Reds win two Premier League titles, the Champions League, FIFA Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup, FA Cup, two EFL Cups and the Community Shield.
Individually, Salah claimed the Premier League Golden Boot on four occasions and was named the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) Player of the Year three times, in 2018, 2022 and 2025.
His remarkable consistency and goalscoring record have cemented his status as one of Liverpool’s greatest-ever players.
