The wide receiver has had a troublesome offseason, one where he has had to battle legal allegations. He is once again facing a new one.
Stefon Diggs’ male sexual assault accuser defends his claims
A man named Christopher Griffith has accused Diggs of sexual assault. Griffith, a social media influencer has an ongoing civil legal battle, which stems from an alleged May 2023 encounter at Diggs’ home. The alleged victim has claimed that he was drugged with laced candy, which was followed by unwanted sexual advances by Diggs, which included exposure, masturbation, attempted kissing, and other non-consensual acts.

Diggs originally sued Griffith for defamation, alleging he fabricated claims of being drugged and sexually assaulted for online clout, with Griffith countersuing in response. The alleged victim has given more than 100 pages of text messages and Instagram DMs to serve as evidence supporting his sexual assault claims. Griffith has already reached an out-of-court settlement in July 2026 with Diggs’ brother Darez, after a separate $10 million lawsuit claimed he was attacked and robbed by Darez a week after the alleged incident at Stefon’s house.
TMZ managed to get an exclusive interview with Griffith, where he fought back against claims that he filed the lawsuit against Diggs to do a cash grab. He maintained that the sexualt assault actually happened, and that he intends to continue it.
Diggs has previously adenied all allegations through his attorneys, though he admitted they had an acquaintance relationship that turned contentious. With the civil case still ongoing, the victim has also warned Diggs’ romantic partner.

While Cardi B and Diggs have their own problems in their relationship, she defended her former partner on social media. She claimed that he was changing his story, and felt the need to speak up for Diggs.
It seems that Griffith decided to send a message to the rapper himself. In an Instagram post with photos of Diggs and himself, he wrote in the caption, “Too worried bout bxtches and fashion, missing preseason action… 🥷🏻✨ (**please leave me alone now, and let’s await trial before a judge and jury**).” While he did not directly mention her name, it seems that he targeted Cardi B.
Stefon Diggs is facing a lot of problems, and it remains uncertain whether he could return to the NFL next season.
