Liverpool have been making enquiries for Bournemouth winger Rayan, according to reports.
The Reds are scrambling to find a potential alternative for Yan Diomande, who has informed the Merseysiders that he is prioritising a move to Paris Saint-Germain.
Rayan is a player that has been on the club’s radar for a while, and TEAMtalk claim that they have “made contact” with Bournemouth about a potential deal.
The Cherries are very determined to keep hold of the Brazilian international, who they only signed six months ago from Vasco da Gama.
However, Rayan is a player that head coach Andoni Iraola knows well, having helped him settle into English football, and TEAMtalk say he “would love” to bring him to Anfield.
Rayan does not have an active release clause
There has been speculation that Liverpool could sign the 19-year-old if they pay his £130m buyout fee. However, that clause only activates at the beginning of 2027.
It means Bournemouth can ask for whatever amount they like for Rayan this summer, making any transfer even more difficult to secure.

Are Liverpool looking at any other forwards?
Brighton’s Yankuba Minteh, FC Cologne’s Said El Mala and Lille’s Matias Fernandez-Parod have all been mentioned as other possible targets.
However, it is believed that Paris Saint-Germain’s Bradley Barcola would be the preferred option IF he is available for a reasonable price.
At the moment, PSG are said to be demanding €150m (£127m), which is not a figure the Reds would even contemplate paying.
Barcola’s contract does run out in less than two years’ time, and if talks over a new deal do stall, there is a decent chance that his valuation will come down before the end of the summer. It remains to be seen, though, how patient Liverpool will be.
