New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart sent his positive reaction to former teammate Tommy DeVito’s engagement news.
New England Patriots quarterback DeVito proposed to her girlfriend, Michayla Anja, at the Pelican Grand Beach Resort in Florida.On Wednesday, he shared several photos and videos of the special event on his Instagram account.
“7.15.2026🤍,” the former Illinois standout captioned.
Positive reactions and congratulatory messages were sent to the newly engaged couple in the post’s comment section. Among those who commented was Dart.
“❤️,” Dart’s comment read.
Dart and DeVito became close friends during the 2025 preseason, where they played three preseason games for the Giants. They even formed a trio with Jameis Winston and called their group the “Three Amigos.”
The three remained friends even after New York cut DeVito from the final roster, as only Dart and Winston remained with the team.
DeVito was picked up by the Patriots shortly after he was released by the Giants. Now, he’s on a fresh two-year, $7.4 million deal with New England, which he signed in March 2026.

Dart and Co. are looking to contend in the upcoming NFL season after finishing last season with a 4-13 record, dead last in the NFC East standings.
The franchise made significant changes to the team since they missed the postseason. First, they hired John Harbaugh as their new head coach.He’ll bring a winning culture to the team, highlighted by one Super Bowl championship under his resume with the Baltimore Ravens at Super Bowl XLVII in 2013.

They also signed a host of veteran players, including Tremaine Edmunds, Isaiah Likely, Darnell Mooney, Jordan Stout, Jason Sanders and Jermaine Eluemunor.
Dart was excellent in his rookie year with New York, where he racked up 2,272 yards with 15 touchdowns and five interceptions. The franchise hopes to clinch a postseason spot for the first time since 2022.
