Everton begin their pre-season programme with a friendly at Dundee
Welcome to our live coverage of Everton's pre-season friendly opener against Dundee at Dens Park. Kick-off is 2pm.
The clash with the Scottish Premiership side rounds off Everton's week-long training camp in Scotland and kicks off a run of seven warm-up matches before the Premier League gets under way.
The Blues will definitely be without Iliman Ndiaye, who is having time off after reaching the last 32 of the World Cup with Senegal, and Jordan Pickford, who is in the England squad for tonight's third-place play-off against France in Miami.
But Everton's travelling squad includes new signing Hayden Hackney, Merlin Rohl and Tyrique George - the latter two whose loan moves have been made permanent - and returning centre-back star Jarrad Branthwaite.
Joe Thomas has made the trip north of the border and he will be in place at Dens Park to bring you live updates from the friendly.
