According to Colombian journalist Pipe Sierra, Martínez is travelling to the United Kingdom today alongside his family and his agent, Daniel Neumüller, in order to undergo his Liverpool medical.
The report describes the move as a historic transfer for the young Colombian midfielder, underlining the significance of the deal both for the player and Colombian football.
