Goalkeeper Alexei Rojas has reportedly signed for Portuguese second division club FC Penafiel after leaving Arsenal.
Rojas was a free agent after electing not to sign a professional contract with the Gunners.
According to jkbej on Instagram, Rojas will continue his development in Portugal, where he will be seeking to play regularly.
Rojas frequently trained with the first-team squad during his time at Arsenal and was named on the bench against Bolton in the Carabao Cup in 2024 and Slavia Prague last season.
However, he was only used sporadically at U21 level during his final seasons at the club and also suffered an injury last campaign.
Rojas was mainly seen as a training goalkeeper in recent years but will now hope that he can get frequent game time.
