The Dallas Mavericks reportedly have no interest in parting ways with Kyrie Irving despite receiving multiple trade inquiries this offseason.
According to NBA reporter Evan Sidery, several teams contacted Dallas to explore Irving's availability, but the Mavericks showed "zero interest" in the proposals.
Dallas instead plans to keep the nine-time All-Star and pair him with Cooper Flagg at the center of its offense next season.
Mavericks reject Kyrie Irving trade approaches
Irving's future had been the subject of speculation as the Mavericks reshaped the organization around Flagg, but Dallas has consistently indicated that the veteran guard is not available.
An earlier report from Marc Stein also stated that rival teams had contacted the Mavs about Irving, only for Dallas to shut down those conversations and communicate that he was not on the trading block.
Irving remains under contract after signing a three-year, $119 million deal with Dallas in 2025.
The agreement includes a player option for the 2027-28 season, giving the Mavericks control of the partnership for at least the immediate future.
The 34-year-old missed the entire 2025-26 campaign while continuing his recovery from surgery to repair a torn ACL, but he is expected to return next season.

Sidery added that new Mavericks head coach Dusty May is excited to construct his offense around Irving and Flagg as Dallas attempts to return to contention immediately.
May officially took over the Mavs after leading Michigan to the NCAA championship during the 2025-26 season.
The 49-year-old arrives in Dallas without previous NBA coaching experience but with a reputation for offensive creativity and player development.
