DeJean is dating Dallas Cowboys cheerleader Abby Summers, and during a recent episode of his “Exciting Mics” podcast, a surprise call from her left him visibly flustered in front of his own co-host.

Summers called into the show’s “Get Dialed In” segment during a moment DeJean clearly did not see coming, congratulating him before turning her attention to his co-host.

“Someone had to tell her to do that,” DeJean said. “Wasn’t me. She made me nervous.”
Co-host Reed Blankenship, a Houston Texans safety and DeJean’s former Eagles teammate, immediately called out how flustered DeJean looked the moment Summers’ voice came through, needling him on air as Summers laughed along.
Summers used the moment to ask a playful question of her own, wondering what the pregame handshake would look like whenever DeJean’s Eagles eventually line up against Blankenship’s Texans, before also congratulating Blankenship on the birth of his daughter.

The call is the latest chapter in a relationship that first went public at the Kentucky Derby in May, after DeJean and Summers were spotted together the previous month at Iowa’s Elite Eight loss to Illinois.
“I don’t really think it’s a conflict of interest,” DeJean said when a fan raised the idea on an earlier episode. “She’s a cheerleader. There is going to be no insider information given either way.”
The pairing has drawn major attention because of the bitter NFC East rivalry between the Eagles and Cowboys.Jason Kelcejoked that DeJean was “pulling a Trojan Horse” after photos of the couple first circulated.
Summers also gave fans a glimpse into their Fourth of July celebration, sharing a TikTok that pulled in more than 1.7 million views, showing the pair spelling out “LOVE” in the water to a Michael Bublé song.
The two have also been spotted together at the Kentucky Derby red carpet and a NASCAR race at Naval Base Coronado since going public, adding to a relationship that has generated steady buzz across both fan bases despite still being relatively new.
DeJean is now focused on preparing for his third NFL season after winning Super Bowl LIX with the Eagles, while Summers continues cheering for the Cowboys and appearing in Netflix’s “America’s Sweethearts” docuseries.
