Josh Allen is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL over the past few years. Drafted in the 2018 NFL Draft by the Buffalo Bills, he has established himself as a prominent player and is highly regarded by both rivals and analysts.
He had a good 2025 season though the Bills could not win anything significant. He is currently enjoying his offseason, and has even welcomed a child. He has now become the subject of a viral joke.
Josh Allen mocked by Panthers assistant coach over viral golf lesson
Allen is currently enjoying his offseason, and has taken to playing golf. It is a favorite passion of the quarterback, and he is known to have skipped Pro Bowl appearances to compete in golf events such as the Pebble Beach Pro-Am. He has also installed a private par-3 course and putting green at his Orchard Park home.

He recently became the subject of jokes on social media after a video of him taking a golf swing lesson with two instructors went viral. The clip shows two instructors working with Allen at a driving range. One stands in front, holding Allen’s head to keep his eyes fixed on the ball. The second instructor kneels directly behind him, gripping his hips to adjust his stance and rotation, positioning his face close to Allen’s backside.
After it went viral, former NFL player and current Carolina Panthers assistant coach Darren Bates also joined in the fun. He made some pointed jokes, and said, “I don’t need a threesome to know how to play golf.” He also added, “Why are you on your knees behind me, bro? Get the f— away from my back door.”
Allen is clearly passionate about golf, and may look into playing golf after his NFL career. He recently talked about another possible career after his NFL chapter is over.
Josh Allen speaks on potential broadcasting career
Allen recently spoke on CNBC and explored the possibility of going into a broadcasting role after his time in the league. He said, “I do think it would be cool if you can keep it from a strictly broadcasting angle. When players go from players to journalists and say certain things that they hated people saying about them, I think that’s where it gets a little murky for me.”
He added, “But I do think that it would be something I would entertain. I can’t say for sure, ‘yes’ or for sure ‘no’ right now, because I do go back and forth on it. But yeah, I’d have to put some more thought into it.”
Josh Allen will have to think about his future career later, as he enjoys his vacation ahead of the next season.
