Morgan Rogers is set to join Chelsea, according to reports. The Aston Villa midfielder, who provided the assist for Anthony Gordon's goal in England's World Cup semi-final loss to Argentina, had been linked with a move to Arsenal.
However, the Athletic understands the west Londoners have a verbal agreement with Villa to sign him after a bid of £117million was accepted by Unai Emery's side. A medical is also reportedly set for Monday, suggesting Chelsea want the deal to be wrapped up completely. In addition, it's been claimed Rogers always wanted to move to Chelsea, despite the recent interest from Arsenal.
