Ahead of a segment with New York Knicks superstar Jalen Brunson at Saturday Night’s Main Event, Roman Reigns made a bold claim about how long the Bloodline will continue to exist in WWE.
Tonight, Reigns returns to WWE television for the company’s latest edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event on Peacock. While he won’t be taking part in a match, the reigning WWE World Heavyweight Champion will take part in a unique acknowledgment ceremony with new NBA champ Brunson.
However, before taking to the ring tonight, Reigns was a guest — along with Brunson — on a new edition of the popular sports podcast Nightcap, co-hosted by former NFL greats Shannon Sharpe and Chad Ocho Cinco.
During the interview, he was asked about how much longer he sees the Bloodline existing in the company, and he had a very interesting response.
“I’ll clearly say now, I don’t really have many friends anymore. I have my family. I got my blood, and that’s real. We’re not a faction. We’re a family. People wonder like, ‘How long is this gonna go on?’ Forever, until I’m gone.”
Some thought the faction was done heading into 2026. However, after winning his title at WrestleMania 42, Reigns realigned with his cousins, the Usos, and added recent title challenger Jacob Fatu to this latest version of the popular faction.
Reigns will next compete in the ring when he defends his title against long-time rival Seth Rollins in one of the two main events of next month’s SummerSlam.
