TheCleveland Browns were quick to make changes in their pass-oriented plays by picking two different wide receivers who bring to the table very diverse capabilities in the first round of their draft, which suggested that they need speed to complement their new quarterback recruit.
But without playing even a single game in the NFL, an NFL analyst believes that both the receivers would become integral parts of the Browns’ attack from day one.

CBS Sports’ Jamey Eisenberg released his fantasy football WR tiers on July 18, projecting standout rookie campaigns for bothKC Concepcion andDenzel Boston.
As highlighted by BrownsNation, Eisenberg believes Concepcion has a realistic chance to lead the Browns in targets, while Boston could emerge as the team’s leader in touchdown receptions despite entering the league together as rookies.
“The Browns spent a first-round pick in the NFL Draft on Concepcion and a second-round pick on Boston. I give the slight nod to Concepcion, who just had 61 catches for 919 yards and nine touchdowns in 13 games at Texas A&M in 2025.
He could lead Cleveland in targets. Boston has earned rave reviews this offseason, and he had 62 catches for 881 yards and 11 touchdowns in 12 games at Washington in 2025. He should be a big-play threat, and he could lead the Browns in touchdowns.”
Jamey Eisenberg of CBS Sports projected productive rookie seasons for KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston, predicting Concepcion could lead the Browns in targets while Boston has the potential to emerge as the team's touchdown leader.

This is because the prediction was made based on the fact that Cleveland went out of its way to create complementary receivers in the 2026 NFL draft. Concepcion came aboard with the No. 24 overall pick as a product of Texas A&M University. He was versatile, recording 919 receiving yards and nine touchdowns in the only season he played there.
Whereas Boston is a whole new ball game for the opposition defense. Coming out of Washington, the 6-foot-4 receiver is renowned to be one of the best contested catch receivers in college football. In 2025, Boston recorded 62 receptions, 881 yards and 11 touchdowns, and continues to make positive impressions through Cleveland’s off-season training regime.
These contrasting abilities will be key to the Browns’ offensive unit trying to find consistent quarterback play whether it is Deshaun Watson, Shedeur Sanders, Dillon Gabriel, or any other player in that role.
