NFL star and San Bernardino product Jayden Daniels is giving back to the community that raised him.
Again.
On Saturday, July 18, the Jayden Daniels Foundation held its second annual Community Day.
The free event at Cal State San Bernardino‘s Coussoulis Arena brought families together for a day of celebration and support, a news release states.
The day, organizers wrote online, aimed to “celebrate our community, build new connections and remind ourselves what we’re capable of when we come together.”

Born in Fontana, 25-year-old Daniels graduated from San Bernardino’s Cajon High School in 2019. He’s now the quarterback for the Washington Commanders. As Cajon’s quarterback, he led the team to a CIF-SS Division 4 Championship in 2017.
Saturday’s event included a backpack and school supply giveaway, vendors and Daniels meeting with fans and signing autographs.
Daniels won the 2023 Heisman Trophy after a record-setting season at Louisiana State.
Daniels has not forgotten his former city.
In early 2024, he returned to San Bernardino for a celebration in his honor, got the key to the city and had Cajon High’s stadium named after him.
Later that year, he gifted each Cajon football player a pair of Beats headphones.
