Justin Herbert is coming off a successful 2025 season. He played in 16 regular-season games and led the Los Angeles Chargers to a second-place finish in the AFC West. The quarterback and the team reached the playoffs but lost 16-3 to the New England Patriots in the Wild Card Round.
He completed 340-of-512 passes for 3,727 yards, 26 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. Herbert added 83 rushing attempts for a career-high 498 yards and two scores. His strong play earned him his second Pro Bowl nod.
Herbert’s popularity also grew further last season after he went public withhis relationshipwith singer-songwriter Madison Beer. They often made headlines whenever they were seen in public and when she watched Chargers games at SoFi Stadium.

NFL Fans Poke Fun At Chargers QB Justin Herbert’s Year 1 Vs. Year 7 Photos
The NFL posted a carousel of photos of Herbert on Instagram on Wednesday. It featured the 28-year-old’s appearance from his rookie season to this offseason.
“Bolted up since Day 1 ⚡️” the league captioned the post.
While some fans complimented Herbert for the glow up, others couls not help bu roast the QB in the comments section.
“Dude smiling as if he’s won a playoff game over those 7 years…” one user wrote.
“We need year 1 face with year 3 hair 😂😠,” a comment read.
“Before and After Millions Pic 😂 ⚡️,” one fan commented.
“Bro looks like he was pissed to be a charger at first😂,” posted another.
“Two awful head coaches later still smiling,” a fan said.
“Underachieving made bro happy over the years 😭😭✌️,” one reaction read.
Herbert entered the NFL in 2020 as the No. 6 pick. Many expect the Oregon Ducks product to have an even better campaign this year and lead Los Angeles to a deep playoff run.
He and the Chargers will open their 2026regular season against the Arizona Cardinals on Sept. 13. Another home game at SoFi Stadium follows in Week 2 when Herbert and Co. clash with the Las Vegas Raiders on Sept. 20.
