New team president Mike Gansey has held several talks with agent Rich Paul, and James has hinted at appreciating Philly's basketball culture, though he insists no decision is final yet.
โข Man rescued from manhole after six hours in Philadelphia sewers (prismnews.com) โ Emergency crews spent more than 30 minutes freeing a man trapped in a manhole connected to Philadelphia's sewer system along the 8500 block of Bustleton Avenue in Bell's Corner. The rare Northeast Philadelphia rescue drew a large technical response, highlighted the challenges of confined-space operations, and showed how ordinary street infrastructure can quickly become a serious public safety hazard in dense residential blocks.
โข Storms cause hundreds of flight delays and cancellations, disrupt FIFA Fan Festival in Philadelphia (6abc.com) โ Thunderstorms over Philadelphia Saturday snarled travel at Philadelphia International Airport, with more than 400 delays and over 200 cancellations, and left passengers facing long waits and shifting departure times. The same storms forced FIFA Fan Festival at Lemon Hill to shut down early during its final weekend, sending soaked fans home after only part of the EnglandโFrance match.
