New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo did a backflip that may have placed his surgically repaired leg at risk during the Fanatics Fest in New York City.
Almost nine months after he sustained the season-ending injury during their Week 8 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles, Skattebo celebrated his recovery in the most bizarre way possible.
While doing a WWE-style entrance, Skattebo first showed off his leg by lifting his pants to make the stitches from his surgeries visible. He then attempted a backflip that left him stumbling.
The clip quickly went viral.
The former Arizona State star suffered multiple injuries on his right leg with an ankle dislocation, an open tibia fracture and a ruptured deltoid ligament.
Though Skattebo has now fullyrecovered from the injury, his latest move was met with a negative reception from fans.

The fourth-round draft pick in the 2025 NFL Draft was quickly under fire following his questionable decision to attempt a backflip. The folks online are asserting that he should stay away from such shenanigans.
The negative reactions were evident in the comment section, with others even offering advice to the young NFL star.
“Yeahhh I ain’t drafting buddy,” a fan said.
“Giants GM stressing seeing this video,” a user stated.
“Bro almost ‘McGregored’ himself,” another added.

“He played it off smooth but I know for a fact he heard that saxophone😂,” a fan pointed out.
Skattebo only played eight games last season, but he still racked up 101 rushing attempts for 410 yards and five touchdowns.He hopes to improve his production — while staying healthy — to potentially help the Giants eclipse their four-win total last year.
