Now that the FIFA World Cup is behind us, football observers from around the world are asking what the future holds for Mohamed Salah.
The Liverpool legend is looking for a new club after ending a 9 year stay in Merseyside.

Rumours have abound around whether he will continue to play in Europe, the Middle East (with Saudi Arabia being linked heavily with the Egyptian star) or in the United States of America and Major League Soccer (MLS).
Just a couple of days ago, reports were released that Mohamed Salah had agreed to join Besiktas.
What followed was confusion with claim and counterclaim from different sides saying different things.
In the midst of all of that, it seemed to being suggested that there was no agreement for Salah with Besiktas at all.
But some new developments out of Turkiye seem to have changed the story once again.
Turkish daily newspaper Hurriyet report that Besiktas President Serdal Adali confirmed that the club had indeed reached an agreement to sign Mohamed Salah.
The paper quotes the Besiktas chief claiming that the club were happy to agree to the demands of the player – but the deal fell apart due to extra demands from Salah’s agent.
“Salah met with both our coach Vincenzo Italiano and our Football Director Onder Ozen and accepted our offer,” said Adali.
“His manager also responded positively to our offer at the beginning.
“However, later, ‘transfer completed’ news started to appear in the media and his manager suddenly increased his demands.
“The manager increased his own commission to incredible numbers, about 35%.
“From our point of view, such a percentage is unacceptable under any circumstances.
“We do not believe that Salah is aware of these numbers,” Adali stated.
When pushed on whether they were speaking to one agent or multiple, Adali was clear.
“We are only talking to Ramy Abbas”.
From what we can gather from these comments, it appears that a deal was indeed agreed between the parties.
And it appears a sudden increase of demands from the agent has irked the Turkish side and hindered the deal from being concluded.
It remains to be seen whether the two sides come back together to iron out their differences and make the deal formally complete.
Until then, the future of Mohamed Salah is still up in the air.
