There are a great number of outlets reporting on Harry Souttar, and that he will be leaving Leicester. Wrexham is said to be keen on the central defender. Stoke and Sheffield United are other clubs being linked with the tall man. Souttar recently returned to Leicester training after a successful World Cup campaign with Australia. The asking price is said to be £15million. We just have to wait and see how this progress.
Russell Martin said yesterday that he will have a thorough look with Leicester fans hopefull of keeping Harry Souttar at the club. He would be an ideal captain in this set up and his presence would be exceptional at this level.
Having other alternatives in Wout Faes, Caleb Okoli and Ben Nelson, makes it difficult to see why Russell Martin should keep them all, with youngsters Kevon Gray and Tom Wilson-Brown also to call on to fill this position.
Caleb Okoli and Ben Nelson has been the preferred partnership in the pre-season games. Both players are linked with other clubs. Okoli having interest from Serie A. Chelsea, West Ham and Man Utd all said to have an eye on Ben Nelson. Wout Faes is another player we do not understand would be even considering playing at this level, when he last played for Monaco in Champions League and Ligue1.
Russell Martin has not concluded at all and according to Leicestershire Live correspondant Josh Holland, keeping his thoughts and ideas close to his chest. There will be ongoing negotiations of players moving in and out.
Recent news from Rangers suggests that Scotland international John Souttar, the brother of Harry, has not travelled on tour with The Gers. He is expected to leave the club, but Leicester are not the only one chasing his signature. Sheffield United looks a more likely destination.

Young defender Maxwell Adedeji has left Leicester and joined Spurs. Adedeji is of Nigerian descent, but representing Finland at international level. He has played for their U17 team. Adedeji made his debut for Spurs U21 in a friendly vs. Ebsfleet, earlier in the week.
N Ireland international Justin Devenny has not made his move yet. Preston and Southampton are the contenders in this race, and to see Leicester be able to land him, would be a shocker. The fact that Conor Chaplin decided on Leicester was of course based on the deal he was handed, three years, the size of the club as well as a major chance of making a great impact. This could also be the case for Justin Devenny, so we still could have hopes to see him in a Leicester shirt.
