According to a report from Caught Offside, Arsenal are one of the teams showing an interest in signing Borussia Dortmund left-back Daniel Svensson in the summer transfer window.
The Gunners see him as a versatile option to help benefit Arteta's squad, as he is capable of playing at left back, wing back, or in midfield.
The likes of AC Milan, Juventus, and Real Madrid have also been credited with an interest, although the strongest links appear to be coming from England.
Svensson, who has been described as being 'levels above most' players, is expected to cost in the region of £43 million.
Arsenal face plenty of competition for his signature, and considering he's unlikely to be a guaranteed starter, it could be a difficult deal to get over the line.
