The club officially announced the signing of American guard Jeff Dowtin Jr. to a one-year contract following his lone season with Maccabi Tel Aviv.
The 29-year-old appeared in 19 EuroLeague games last season, averaging 8.1 points and 2.4 assists while shooting 41.7 percent from the field.
Dowtin took on a larger playmaking role in the Israeli League, where he posted 9.6 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 4.3 assists across 10 appearances.
Dowtin brings extensive NBA and G League experience
Before moving to Europe, Dowtin spent several seasons in the NBA, representing the Golden State Warriors, Milwaukee Bucks, Orlando Magic, Toronto Raptors, and Philadelphia 76ers.
A product of the University of Rhode Island, Dowtin spent four seasons with the Rams and averaged 15.3 points and 3.7 assists during the 2018-19 campaign. In his final college season, he posted 13.9 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game.
The American guard made his NBA debut with the Golden State Warriors during the 2021-22 season before also representing the Milwaukee Bucks, Orlando Magic, Toronto Raptors, and Philadelphia 76ers.
Dowtin enjoyed his most productive NBA campaign with Philadelphia in 2024-25, averaging 7.0 points across 41 appearances. He delivered a career-best performance against the Washington Wizards on April 10, 2025, scoring 30 points in a Sixers victory.
The 29-year-old also established himself as a prolific scorer in the G League. He averaged 21.2 points with the Osceola Magic, 18.3 points and 6.5 assists with Raptors 905, and 24.6 points while shooting over 43 percent from three-point range during his latest stint with the Delaware Blue Coats.
