Liverpool fly to Chicago on Monday for their pre-season tour of the United States and will soon be joined by Alexander Isak, Florian Wirtz and Ryan Gravenberch.
Andoni Iraola and a mixed squad of first-team players and youngsters are due to fly to America on Monday and will be based in Chicago throughout their tour.
But with eight players at the World Cup this summer, the Reds will see a staggered return of those involved at the tournament.
The first to report back are expected to be Isak, Wirtz and Gravenberch, who all dropped out of the World Cup at the round-of-32 stage.
According to The Athletic‘s James Pearce, the plan is for the trio to link up with their Liverpool team-mates this weekend.
They will miss the friendly against Sunderland in Nashville on Saturday but could be involved against Wrexham in New York (July 30) and Leeds in Chicago (August 2) depending on their fitness.

Pearce’s information suggests that Virgil van Dijk and Cody Gakpo – who both exited the World Cup at the same time as Gravenberch as the Netherlands lost to Morocco – could be granted extra time off.
That is as yet unconfirmed but it is certainly possible, particularly when it comes to Van Dijk, who played every minute of Liverpool’s Premier League campaign as well as throughout the World Cup with his country.
No other player across Europe’s top seven leagues – the Premier League, Serie A, LaLiga, the Bundesliga, Ligue 1, the Primeira Liga and the Belgian Pro League – managed that feat.

Alisson is also due to return later having reached the last 16 with Brazil, though he could still join the Liverpool squad in America.
Alexis Mac Allister and Victor Munoz will not be back with the squad until mid-August, which could see them involved in the final friendly of the summer against Como at Anfield (August 16).
While Munoz was an unused substitute throughout Spain’s triumphant World Cup campaign, he will still be eligible for a minimum three-week break per FIFA rules.
Mac Allister started and played every minute in seven of Argentina’s eight games, including the full 90 plus extra time in their defeat in Sunday’s final.
