Rafa Leao has been linked with a move to Aston Villa this summer by Italian media.

The 27-year-old winger is reportedly keen for a fresh start at a new club, while AC Milan are also said to be open to selling him for around €60 million.

La Gazzetta dello Sport even claims Milan's decision-makers would consider offers of €50 million, with Leao's valuation having dropped significantly over the past 18 months.

With just two years remaining on his contract, Leao's value is unlikely to increase, and Milan appear to be well aware of that.

Villa are targeting new attacking reinforcements as Morgan Rogers closes in on a £117 million move to Chelsea, a deal that would make him the most expensive British player in history.

Leon Bailey is also expected to leave the club this summer, while Jadon Sancho's loan spell came to an end at the conclusion of last season.

Paris Saint-Germain's Ibrahim Mbaye and West Ham United's Crysencio Summerville are both among Villa's primary targets, but the reported interest in Leao is particularly intriguing.

Last season, Leao scored nine goals and registered three assists in 29 Serie A appearances for Milan.

He also represented Portugal at this summer's World Cup, scoring once and providing one assist. However, he started just one match, against Croatia in the round of 32.
