Liverpool FC## Liverpool has appointed Alejandro Rosalen as its new goalkeeping coach, with the Spaniard taking over from Xavi Valero, who stepped down at the end of the season

Liverpool has appointed Alejandro Rosalen as its new goalkeeping coach, with the 49-year-old replacing Xavi Valero, who departed earlier this summer.
Rosalen, 49, is a Spanish coach with a wealth of experience. He was most recently at Napoli in Italy, where he helped win the title twice in a spell of five years.
Before that, Rosalen was at Fiorentina. The Spaniard has also worked in Hungary having began his career at Valencia. Liverpool will fly out to the US for the next phase of pre-season later today. Alisson Becker is still on holiday after the World Cup.
