Aston Villa have made up for the shock departure of Youri Tielemans to Manchester United by bringing in two midfielders – Johan Manzambi and Joao Gomes for a combined £98m.
With Morgan Rogers also set to move to Chelsea for a club record £117m, Unai Emery’s side will have to identify a replacement for the England international as well.
Brighton have officially secured the signature of Tottenham defender Luka Vuskovic for £46m. Spurs will have matching rights if the Seagulls opt to offload the Croatian in the future. Brentford, meanwhile, have added two forwards from relegated clubs – Jaidon Anthony (from Burnley) and Callum Wilson (from West Ham).
