ATLANTA – Georgia State women's soccer has announced its 2026 schedule, featuring a competitive mix of non-conference opponents, in-state matchups and a full Sun Belt Conference slate.
The Panthers begin the season with a pair of exhibition matches, taking on Western Carolina (Aug. 5) on the road and Jacksonville State (Aug. 8) at home.
Regular season play kicks off in Birmingham, as the Panthers take on UAB on Aug. 12. The team then has its home opener against Truett McConnell on Aug. 16 at the GSU Soccer Complex.
The Panthers head back to Alabama, with clashes against Samford (Aug. 20) and Auburn (Aug. 30). In between the two matches, the Panthers will play host to Wofford on Aug. 23.
To close out non-conference play, Georgia State will welcome ETSU (Sept. 3) and Gardner-Webb (Sept. 13) to Atlanta while staying in-state to face West Georgia in Carrollton on Sept. 10.
Sun Belt Conference play begins on the road, taking on Appalachian State on Sept. 18 before opening home conference play against rival Georgia Southern on Sept. 24.
On Sept. 27, the Panthers will travel to Mobile to face South Alabama. They then come back to defend their home pitch against Arkansas State on Oct. 2.
Georgia State then takes on the Louisiana schools of the Sun Belt, beginning at ULM on Oct. 8, while hosting Louisiana on Oct. 11.
The Panthers wrap up road play with matches against Coastal Carolina on Oct. 15 and James Madison on Oct. 25.
Home play is wrapped up with matches against Marshall (Oct. 22) and Old Dominion (Nov. 1) to end the regular season.
The Sun Belt Conference Championship Tournament begins Nov. 9, featuring the top eight seeded teams.
