Austrian side TSV Hartberg are reportedly close to signing a Liverpool goalkeeper this summer according to reliable reports.

Liverpool have confirmed their initial squad for this summer’s USA pre-season tour, with Andoni Iraola set to take charge for the first time on American soil as the Reds prepare for friendlies against Sunderland, Wrexham and Leeds United.
The travelling party, which departed from John Lennon Airport on Monday, is an initial squad with plenty of senior players on break after the World Cup expected to join up within the next fortnight.

New signing Victor Munoz and Alexis Mac Allister, having made it all the way to the final, are not expected to partake in the USA tour.
Among the goalkeeping options not included in is young shot-stopper Armin Pecsi, whose long-term future now looks set to lie away from Anfield for the upcoming campaign.
The Liverpool Echo has reported that Pecsi is close to a loan move to Austrian outfit TSV Hartberg ahead of the 2026/27 season.
Liverpool are keen for the 21-year-old to gain regular senior experience.
Pecsi, who was an unused substitute at first-team level on five occasions during 2025-26, has impressed since joining Liverpool from Puskas Akademia for around £1.5 million last summer.
Despite not yet making his senior Anfield bow he has been highly rated behind the scenes.
A regular for the club at under-21s level, Pecsi has also taken the step up onto the international stage, making his senior debut for Hungary against Kazakhstan last month.
Liverpool will hope a spell in Austria’s top flight accelerates that development further.
Since arriving at Anfield, Pecsi has featured in a pre-season friendly against Athletic Club and has become a regular for Liverpool’s U21 side. He was also nominated for the Premier League 2 Player of the Month award in January 2026.
It’s reported that Hartberg beat off competition from a number of clubs in Switzerland and France to land him on loan.
