Jaylen Brown's return date to Boston revealed

The Celtics made the bold move a few weeks ago to trade away franchise player Jaylen Brown to the 76ers.

It's taken time for fans to realize this really happened, and they won't have to wait very long to see Brown back in Boston playing on the parquet.

Jaylen Brown's return date to Boston revealed

On Monday morning, the Celtics announced their 2026 NBA preseason schedule.

It was revealed that the Celtics will play four games, including two against the 76ers, with the first in Boston at TD Garden.

That game is on Oct. 10, and it's the first time we'll potentially see Brown take the floor against his now-former team.

With this being a preseason game, he may not play, but the expectation at least is that he'll be in the building that night.

The Celtics and 76ers will play at least four times in the regular season, since they are in the same conference/division, so even if Brown doesn't make an appearance in this game, there will be plenty of other opportunities to see him face his old team.
