A fresh Arsenal transfer update has provided new insight into the club’s thinking on several high-profile targets, including Ezri Konsa, Morgan Rogers and Bruno Guimarães, while also revealing the latest on Gabriel Martinelli’s future.
According to HandofArsenal, the Gunners continue to hold a strong interest in Aston Villa defender Ezri Konsa despite links cooling in recent weeks. The England international has long been admired by Arsenal, with his ability to play both at centre-back and right-back making him an attractive option for Mikel Arteta.

Perhaps the most detailed section of the report concerns Aston Villa star Morgan Rogers, who has been heavily linked with Arsenal throughout the summer.

According to HandofArsenal, Arsenal were informed during May and June that a fee between £80 million and £100 million would be enough to complete a deal. That information was reportedly passed on to sporting director Andrea Berta through intermediaries.
The report claims Arsenal subsequently made a verbal offer worth £80 million and were prepared to increase their bid to a maximum of £100 million.
However, Villa’s stance is said to have changed significantly following the sales of Elliot Anderson and Sandro Tonali, with those deals altering the market and strengthening the club’s negotiating position. As a result, Arsenal’s proposed valuation no longer matched Villa’s expectations.
Despite that setback, the report states that Rogers himself remained fully committed to the idea of joining Arsenal. It is also claimed that the England international held a face-to-face meeting with Mikel Arteta, something that has since been reported by several journalists.
