The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed American defensive lineman Derick Roberson and American defensive back Millard Bradford. The team made the announcement on Monday.
The six-foot-four, 250-pound defender spent the past three seasons with the DC Defenders. He was named All-UFL in 2026 after he made 47 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, eight sacks, two pass breakups, and two forced fumbles over 11 games.
The native of San Antonio, Texas spent three seasons with the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted NFL free agent. He played 19 regular-season games with the team, making 29 tackles, six tackles for loss, and five sacks.

The 30-year-old played collegiately at Sam Houston State, where he made 68 total tackles, 21 tackles for loss, 15 sacks, five forced fumbles, and two pass breakups as a senior.
Bradford played three regular-season NFL games with the New Orleans Saints in 2024, recording three total tackles. He was later a member of the Chicago Bears and Calgary Stampeders, though he didn’t see any regular-season action with either team.
The native of DeRidder, La. played collegiately at Texas Christian University, where he played 58 games and made 27 starts. He recorded 231 tackles, 17 tackles for loss, one sack, four interceptions, 19 pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries. He was named an All-Big 12 honourable mention in 2022 and 2023.
The Saskatchewan Roughriders (4-1) will host the Edmonton Elks (5-1) at Mosaic Stadium on Thursday, July 23 with kickoff scheduled for 9:00 p.m. EDT. The Elks survived a late scare to beat the B.C. Lions this past week, while the Roughriders were on bye.
