Dusan Vlahovic appears to be moving further away from FC Barcelona as the Serbian striker begins reopening alternative options rather than waiting indefinitely for the Catalan club.

He understood that Julian Alvarez was the club’s priority but believed a possible departure for Ferran Torres could eventually create an opportunity for him.
That situation has not developed quickly enough, and Vlahovic is now ready to resume conversations that had previously been put on hold.
Besiktas are among the clubs pushing for the striker and have reportedly offered him a three-year contract worth €8 million net per season. After waiting for an answer, the Turkish side have now increased the pressure for a decision.
A return to the negotiating table with Juventus has also not been completely ruled out. The Italian club previously offered Vlahovic a two-year agreement worth €6 million per season, which he rejected, but the two sides could potentially reconsider their positions.
From Barcelona’s perspective, the situation appears relatively straightforward. Vlahovic has never been the first choice to lead the new attack, despite contacts with his representatives to understand the financial conditions of a possible deal.
Those demands were considered expensive, although the belief was that there could have been room for negotiation if Barca decided to make a serious move.
Everything currently depends on Julian Alvarez and Ferran. Barcelona want clarity over their pursuit of the Argentine, while Ferran’s uncertain future could significantly reshape the attacking plan.
If Ferran leaves and Barca still need additional firepower, Vlahovic could become more relevant. The problem is that the Serbian understandably does not want to remain without a club while waiting for decisions at the Camp Nou.
For Barca, there is little reason to abandon their preferred strategy simply because another target is becoming impatient. However, there is also a risk attached to keeping alternatives on standby for too long.
Vlahovic represents a potentially valuable market opportunity, but unless Barcelona’s situation changes soon, he may have already chosen his next destination by the time the club is ready to seriously consider him.
