First-team manager has confirmed his star player will join Arsenal this summer
Managers often take time to praise players who have earned a big move through hard work. These moments highlight the value of consistency and professionalism in football. Young players watching on can take inspiration from those who have earned their rewards.
When a talented attacker forces his way onto the radar of Europe’s top clubs, it usually stems from outstanding performances over a sustained period. Work rate in training and matches frequently separates those who make the step up from those who do not.

Club Brugge manager Ivan Leko has publicly confirmed that Christos Tzolis is set to join Arsenal. The 24-year-old winger is expected to complete a €40million (£34million) move to the Premier League champions after a medical was authorised earlier this month.
Leko described the transfer as a reward for Tzolis’ relentless attitude. “This is one fantastic example,” he said. “Somebody who is, who was first coming on the training base, last one there. Every training was like game for him, giving so much for his career and then you get award to sign for one of the biggest club in Europe.
“Big thing for him, I think, big thing for Club Brugge, big thing for Belgian football. Good lesson for all young boys what we have, that in football you need to work. Stop to talk, work. Try to do everything to improve yourself day by day, exactly what Christos was doing.

“And on one side I’m very happy for him. I’m very sad for me on one side because we are losing top player and I’m very, I’m convinced that he will have his minutes, that he will show also on highest level in Premier League and Champions League in Arsenal that is, is, is top player, that he absolutely deserves to go to be there.”
Tzolis was reportedly only interested in joining Arsenal despite interest from other clubs. He produced an outstanding campaign last season with 51 goal contributions in 52 appearances, including 17 league goals and 23 assists.
The Greece international is expected to provide competition and depth in Arsenal’s attacking areas. His arrival would mark another addition as Mikel Arteta prepares the squad for the new season. Official confirmation is anticipated once formalities are completed.
Supporters will be looking forward to seeing Tzolis in an Arsenal shirt. The endorsement from his former manager underlines the quality and character the winger will bring to north London. The deal represents a significant step for both player and club.
