Packers Sign Star Defender To Extension

According to Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team:

Just in: The #Packers and DT Devonte Wyatt have reached agreement on a 3-year, $57M extension, per @Schultz_Report.

The former 1st-round pick suffered a fractured fibula in December but was playing the best football of his career before the injury. Green Bay now makes sure he’s staying long-term.

According to Rapoport, the new contract includes a $20 million signing bonus for the defensive tackle.

The 28-year-old Wyatt was entering the final year of his rookie contract. Over his first four seasons, the 2022 first-round pick has tallied 16 sacks. Here is a look at his complete stats:
