Arsenal have had a quiet transfer window thus far.
The Gunners confirmed the arrival of goalkeeper Illan Meslier earlier this month and have yet to land an outfield signing for manager Mikel Arteta.
However, that should soon change with Club Brugge winger Christos Tzolis poised to travel to London tomorrow to finalise his move to the Gunners.
A formal announcement could be made on Wednesday. Arsenal recently agreed on a package worth £34 million with Brugge for the left-sided winger.
Arsenal poised to land Tzolis from Brugge
The Gunners were expected to make several big-name signings after their first league title in 22 years, but things have played out differently in recent weeks.
The club were pretty confident of landing winger Morgan Rogers from Aston Villa, only for Chelsea to beat them to the player with a record £117m deal.
Arsenal hold a keen interest in landing Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimaraes, but as things stand, they have yet to meet the reported £80-85m price.
For now, the club are on the cusp of landing Tzolis, who will become their first major summer signing.
The Greek comes with a big reputation from Brugge, having notched up a staggering tally of 22 goals and 29 assists from 52 appearances across all competitions.
The Premier League is much superior to the Pro League, but Tzolis has shown glimpses of his quality with his dribbling, chance creation and ability to score from tight spaces.
He is seen as a replacement for the recently departed Trossard, but Arsenal are expected to pursue a marquee left winger too with Gabriel Martinelli poised to depart.
