Reigning United States Champion Trick Williams sent Tom Brady a stark warning after the NFL legend voiced his desire to step inside a WWE ring.
During an appearance at Fanatics Fest in New York City last week, Brady teased that he is waiting for an invitation from WWE president Nick Khan to "get in the mix." He then added fuel to his feud with Logan Paul, slapping the WWE superstar across the face before being pulled away by Knicks big man Karl-Anthony Towns.
While chatting with WWE superstar Cody Rhodes on the 'What Do You Wanna Talk About?' podcast, Brady explained: "I need to get an invite. I've been waiting for Nick Khan to come up with some storyline for me to get in the mix.

"I feel like I'm retired from football, and I have an opportunity to go out there and still showcase that I'm a little bit of an athlete. I think I could get in there for at least one match. Come on, Nick. Make it happen.”
It appears Brady will be in for a rude awakening should he ever enter the squared circle. Speaking to Mirror U.S. Sports at Saturday’s Sports Illustrated Beyond the Pitch New York, Williams revealed that he and his WWE peers hadn’t forgotten the 48-year-old’s unsubtle dig at wrestlers.
“He called us out a couple months ago,” Williams said of Brady. “He said that WWE wrestlers are soft. So if he steps in the ring, we gotta see what he’s going to do about it.”
Back in February, Brady disparaged Paul's career during a guest spot on his 'Impaulsive' podcast.
When the influencer — who has emerged as a top heel and full-time performer on the Raw brand — indicated he performs at the "highest level," the seven-time Super Bowl champion responded: "No, you're not the level. You're a good athlete, but when I'm thinking of Saquon Barkley, Odell Beckham, Justin Jefferson.
"It's cute. I love WWE, it's very cute, but honestly this is like real football, this is real competition."
In the months since, Paul and Brady have made little effort to conceal their mutual contempt while seemingly setting the stage for a potential WWE showdown.
The athletes' feud carried over onto the gridiron during the Fanatics Flag Football Classic when Brady hurled a football at Paul after the whistle had sounded. A tense verbal confrontation ensued, though the matter was ultimately settled.

Things turned physical at Fanatics Fest when Brady open-hand smacked Paul, with Towns quickly intervening before tensions could spiral further.
Responding to Brady's slap on X, Paul stated: "This happened bc I was roasting Tom for beating him in flag football. And he tries to smack me ? ? Horrible example for the kids. Aura -100 + Blocked. With a torn tricep."
Brady fired back at Paul, whom he labeled a "dork" before declaring: "I tried America... will try again next time I see this nerd."
Barely 48 hours following their controversial confrontation, Brady and Paul crossed paths again while attending Sunday's World Cup final between Spain and Argentina at MetLife Stadium.
In viral footage circulating on X, Brady can be seen giving Paul the middle finger, with the latter returning the offensive gesture. Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin ultimately served as mediator, restraining Paul and tapping him on the chest.

Williams’ expressed confidence that Paul would make quick work of Brady if their rumored clash comes to fruition, declaring: “I know Logan Paul, he’s a real one. He’s gonna take care of business.”
As for whether Williams — who played football at South Carolina from 2014 to 2016 after walking onto the team — would also like a shot at Brady, he said with a hearty laugh: “Oh please, man. He don’t want that problem.”
