Earlier this month, Aaron Rodgers bonded with his 2026 Pittsburgh Steelers teammates. Right before camp, Rodgers bonded with family.
A story notable due to Rodgers’ history of being estranged from his family. Monday night, Rodgers shared a series of photos with his parents and families. His caption read “Another bonding week #fam.”
His post received universal support from fans, friends, and former teammates. One came from ESPN reporter John Sutcliffe, with whom Rodgers has a strong relationship, who offered a heart emoji. Former Green Bay Packers TE Jimmy Graham and New York Jets RB Breece Hall also offered their support and congratulations.
Rodgers hasn’t often discussed his personal life and rift between his family, but it was known throughout his Green Bay tenure. In 2024, People magazine detailed Rodgers’ rocky history with family, including his parents and brothers. Brother Jordan detailed the relationship a decade ago during an appearance on The Bachelorette. He currently serves as an analyst for ESPN.

Now, Rodgers seems to be repairing those relationships.
Last year, Rodgers cited a personal issue as the reason why he waited months to sign with the Steelers. Though Rodgers never explicitly detailed the situation, it appeared to be related to a health issue with someone close to him. He also revealed he got married in 2025 before training camp began.
Entering his final NFL season, Rodgers seems to have created plenty of peace in his personal life. Rodgers will look to lead the Steelers in his second season with the franchise. Last year, Pittsburgh won its first division title since 2020 but failed to advance in the playoffs, falling to the Houston Texans in the Wild Card round.
