It’s all about the rumors, and how you read ‘em.

Lead Rumor: Tom Brady in WWE

I spent entirely too much time hate watching Tom Brady as his New England Patriots teams ran roughshod over the NFL for pretty much the entirety of my adult life. He once juked Brian Urlacher of my beloved Bears right out of his shoes. It was bad.

All that is to say, I wouldn’t mind seeing Brady take a few bumps in WWE. I may not have to wait much longer.

That’s the word from TMZ Sports, who say the man most would call the greatest quarterback in the history of the NFL is having “ongoing conversations” with WWE about coming in to do something. It’s not clear if he’ll actually work a match but he’s been building a feud with Logan Paul at various appearances over the past few months.

Stay tuned.

Other rumors floating around

Bayley’s contract with WWE is coming up “in a couple months,” says Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio.

There won’t be any involvement from Tyrese Haliburton and Jalen Brunson at SummerSlam, according to Bryan Alvarez on Wresting Observer Radio. The angle they did at Saturday Night’s Main Event was just for that show at Madison Square Garden.

Per WrestleVotes, Becky Lynch will be making her return to WWE after SummerSlam.

Alexa Bliss, meanwhile, is not currently figured into any creative plans for SummerSlam, says Votes.

WWE is doing watch parties all around the United States in major markets next year in the hopes of getting a jump on “AEW and everyone else that’s gonna want to do something during WrestleMania 43 weekend,” says Bryan Alvarez.

Get in on this, y’all.
