The Miami Heat are reportedly at the top of LeBron James' list as he prepares to make his free agency decision.
A potential return to one of his former teams is reportedly gaining momentum as LeBron James enters the final stage of deciding his next destination.

According to James' former teammate and current NBA analyst Kendrick Perkins, the Miami Heat are at the top of the four-time MVP's list.
"I heard that Miami is at the top of the list," Perkins said on ESPN's NBA Today. "If Miami wants some real motion, Giannis already did his press conference. He has to pick up the damn phone. That's what LeBron James wants."

ESPN’s Shams Charania reported that James has gathered all the information he needs to make his decision, with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat, and Philadelphia 76ers currently viewed as the leading contenders for the 41-year-old superstar.
"I spoke to Rich Paul, his longtime agent, this morning, and Rich Paul made it clear to me that the choice is LeBron James' right now," Charania said on NBA Today.
"It’s up to him which team he wants to play for. All of the information is in. The teams are set. Everyone has made their moves.
"There is no decision, no choice yet. There's no timetable on a choice as of yet. But we know the teams: Cleveland, Miami, Philadelphia, Golden State, and Minnesota. All are waiting on this."
Charania added that James' decision is also holding up movement elsewhere in free agency.
"It has a domino effect around the league with other free agents as well," he said. "My understanding, though, over the last couple of weeks is that the focus has been primarily on the Eastern Conference teams, being Cleveland, Miami, and Philadelphia."
