Victor Munoz may not have featured for Spain at the World Cup but that did not stop the winger from lapping up the celebrations with his teammates.

The Liverpool star entered the tournament with a niggling injury and that prevented him from any real involvement for Luis de la Fuente's side. The Spanish ultimately won the competition despite that fact thanks to Ferran Torres' extra-time strike which he slammed past Emi Martinez. That came after Chelsea's Enzo Fernandez had been sent off for two yellow cards.

For Munoz it was a joyous occasion and he invited family and friends to celebrate with him on the pitch in New York as he partied with his winners' medal and lifted the trophy aloft.

Images also emerged from the Spanish dressing room with Munoz enjoying his time there, too. But now more footage has dropped from the celebrations back home in Europe as the roster paraded their spoils in Madrid for supporters.

And Munoz, 23, was spotted having the time of his life as he danced with the trophy and cuddled teammates wearing his 'Campeones' T-shirt and Spanish cowboy hat.

One fan shared the clips on social media and captioned it: "A bit more Victor Munoz content on the timeline. He's some fella." And that racked up thousands of likes and shares in a short period of time.

Other punters made their own feelings known and urged their attacker to replicate the same fiesta atmosphere next summer with domestic trophies with Liverpool in his arms.

One said: "Can he recreate this next season with the ucl?" as another commented: "Needs to be in GOAT right winger conversations after this World Cup. Absolute magician".

A third added: "We need more characters. This is good to see." And another joked: "Greatest Spanish athlete of all time".

Munoz has already shown his personality to the fanbase following his $46million move from Osasuna this summer. The forward reacted awkwardly to US President Donald Trump standing alongside the Spanish national team on the winners' podium after handing off the World Cup trophy.

It was a bizarre moment from what has been an entertaining few months of football. Liverpool made sure to celebrate their player following his nation's monumental win as they shared a picture with the caption: "Victor and Spain are 2026 FIFA World Cup winners".

And fans were quick to make light of the fact that their man did not make an appearance. One chuckled: "MVP for me," on Instagram, while another joked: "Player of the tournament."

The player will certainly be hoping to make more of an impact for his club this season but will spend time having a rest from the tournament before linking up with his new teammates in the US again for their training camp and tour of the States.
