Chelsea have officially unveiled their new Nike away kit for the 2026/27 season, with a black and gold design now available to purchase.
The Blues have introduced the strip under the campaign title “Unleash The Lion” as the club continues its celebration of the lion’s place within Chelsea history.
According to the official Chelsea announcement, black forms the base of the shirt, while Midwest Gold features on the badge, Nike logo, shoulders, collar and sleeves. Yellow has returned to a Chelsea away kit for the first time since the 2021/22 season.
A laurel wreath motif borders the round neck and sleeve cuffs. The same detail also appears on the gold socks, while an engineered gold rib runs across each shoulder.

Chelsea away kit to debut during pre-season tour
Chelsea players Ellie Carpenter, Estevao Willian, Lauren James, Naomi Girma, Moises Caicedo and Reece James modelled the strip as part of the launch campaign.
Joao Pedro and Lucy Bronze also feature in the promotional material, which shows the players emerging from the shadows and coming together as a pride.
The kit will make its full match debut during Chelsea’s upcoming men’s pre-season tour. The authentic version includes Nike’s Aero-FIT cooling technology to help players remain dry during matches.
ReadChelsea previously covered the strong supporter reaction after images of the away kit leaked earlier this year. The official version confirms the same dark design and gold detailing which attracted praise from fans.
The new away kit is available in men’s, women’s and children’s sizes. Supporters can purchase it online or from the Megastore at Stamford Bridge.
